About

Our conversations will be about you.

You may want to know a little about me before we begin.

I provide coaching to individuals. Our work is best characterised as a process of disentangling and sense-making, guided reflection, and strategising. This work, in turn, represents an amalgamation of my practices in debriefing in clinical simulation and in clinical work, patient counselling as an anaesthetist, and academic work in coaching with Monash University.

We all bring a unique catalogue of identities to the coaching conversation. Here are some of mine that make me a potentially suitable partner in your professional endeavours, challenges, and discoveries.

I am looking forward to working together.

Worker

While my visions and aspirations can be lofty, I deeply value the safety of and fulfilment in the journey so that I can approach my learning edge with confidence. I believe that measured analysis, creative innovation, and assertive self-advocacy can lead to sustained profound growth.

Stumbler

The vastness and occasionally inflexible mechanics of work can make me feel like I am stumbling and falling despite my best efforts. Like the leaves do in autumn, falling is periodic and part of growth. I believe greatly in the protective power of empathy, preparedness, and safety nets.

Child

Work and play can sometimes seem like antonyms. Fun, connection, and immersion in the present bring real meaning to work for me.

Thinker

I harbour a fair share of self-doubt and have a bad habit of rumination and while these can stand as obstacles to my progress, they can also be harnessed to expedite targetted skill mastery through reflective practice and to develop true confidence.
